Francesca Di-Lella

The Artist behind the Art
Francesca Di-Lella is a self-taught fine artist known for her bold, vibrant acrylic paintings that explore mental health through a hopeful and empowering lens. Drawing inspiration from her own emotional experiences, Francesca uses flowers and water as recurring metaphors, symbols of vulnerability, resilience, and growth beneath the surface. Her work embraces colour, light, and movement to celebrate the strength found in navigating complex emotional states, reminding viewers that struggle and beauty can coexist.
Based in Swindon, Francesca has exhibited her work at events including Open Studio Swindon and Swindon Paint Fest, where her emotionally rich pieces have resonated strongly with audiences. In recognition of her distinctive style and meaningful narrative, she was awarded Artist of the Month by Gracie’s Giclée. When not in her studio, Francesca can often be found painting outdoors by the many lakes of the Cotswolds, allowing nature and water to directly influence her process.
